This 15 × 20 cm deep white frame brings together an authentic fragment of Campo del Cielo and a detailed photograph of M33, the Triangle galaxy. The ensemble plays on natural contrasts: millennia-old raw metal and a galactic fresco rich in nuance.
Campo del Cielo is one of the oldest iron meteorites ever discovered. Falling several thousand years ago and found in Argentina in 1576, it is composed mainly of iron-nickel.
Its characteristic internal structures, visible on certain polished sections, testify to natural metallurgical processes impossible to reproduce on Earth.
The selected fragment is presented with its certificate of authenticity, placed on the back, attesting to its real extraterrestrial origin.
The photograph highlights M33, renowned for its open spiral arms and widely scattered starry zones. The image reveals :
pink patterns corresponding to regions where young stars are born,
bluer zones dominated by massive stars,
a slightly brighter core, typical of galaxies with a diffuse structure.
The version chosen here particularly highlights the fine stellar textures, the smooth transitions between the galactic arms, and the luminous granularity that gives M33 its almost painterly appearance.
The white frame, combined with the depth of the interior volume, creates a clean, modern presentation. The light color emphasizes the brightness of the photograph, while providing an elegant contrast to the metallic hue of Campo del Cielo.
This compact format is ideal for a bookcase, desk or larger wall composition.
This frame combines the scientific rigor of a metal fragment from outer space with the aesthetics of a colorful spiral galaxy.
It’s for anyone with an interest in astronomy, rare objects and decorative pieces with a history.
