This round pendant is entirely designed and cast in our workshop in Île-de-France. Its circular medallion, crafted from Nordic gold, showcases an authentic fragment of Campo del Cielo, delicately set at the center of the piece. Hanging from a gold-plated stainless steel chain, this piece of jewelry combines elegance, artisanal craftsmanship, and genuine material from space. As a result, each pendant has a unique character.
The medallion is made of Nordic gold, an alloy composed primarily of copper, aluminum, zinc, and tin. Although it contains no gold, it has a beautiful golden hue and excellent durability. This alloy is notably used in the production of the European 10-, 20-, and 50-cent euro coins. Furthermore, its color naturally enhances the meteorite’s metallic sheen.
The pendant contains an authentic fragment of Campo del Cielo, an iron meteorite first recorded in Argentina in 1576. Composed mainly of iron and nickel, it formed several billion years ago before reaching Earth. Each fragment has its own unique texture, contours, and shades.
