Triangle meteorite ring. A gold-tone double-band ring topped with a triangular Aletai meteorite plate with silvery glints. The cut surface highlights the metallic structure of the meteorite.
The metal in this jewel comes from Aletai, an iron meteorite found in 1898 in the Altai mountains of north-west China. Its polished surfaces often show criss-crossing lines – the Widmanstätten pattern, impossible to reproduce on Earth. Find out more in our article The Aletai meteorite: a rare and authentic stone.
