This deep black frame combines a NWA 14093 meteorite with a 15×20 cm photograph of NGC 884, one of the major open clusters in the Perseus constellation. This combination creates a luminous, harmonious decorative piece, perfect for lovers of astronomy and authentic objects.
Discovered in Morocco in 2016, NWA 14093 belongs to the rare family of mesosiderites, meteorites composed of a complex mixture of metals and silicates.
These meteorites are easily recognized by :
their bright metallic zones,
their clearer silicate inclusions,
a fragmented internal structure, the result of past violent impacts.
The fragment presented in this frame retains its natural relief and raw identity. The certificate of authenticity on the front fully attests to its extraterrestrial origin.
The 15×20 cm photo reveals NGC 884, one of the two clusters forming the famous Perseus double cluster.
In this luminous version, we can see :
a multitude of fine, bright stars,
a dense distribution creating an impression of depth,
subtle nuances that highlight differences in magnitude,
a dark background ideal for bringing out the stellar richness.
The Perseus cluster has a unique aesthetic, both chaotic and orderly, perfect for a decorative display.
The deep black frame acts like a jewel box. It enhances the luminosity of NGC 884 and brings out the natural metal of the meteorite. Its modern, unobtrusive design makes this celestial composition ideal for a living room, office or wall collection dedicated to space objects.
This NWA 14093 & NGC 884 – Perseus cluster – frame brings together history, science and aesthetics.
It is aimed at astronomy enthusiasts, collectors or those looking for a rare, luminous and authentic decorative object.
A creation that tells a story both ancient and universal.
