A meteorite watch carries authentic fragments on its dial, visible under the glass. Depending on the model, you will find iron from Campo del Cielo (Argentina) or from Aletai (China). Other watches hold the mesosiderite NWA 14093 (Morocco), or else Martian fragments of Amgala 001.

Campo del Cielo and Aletai are iron meteorites. These alloys of iron and nickel come from the core of ancient asteroids. Once someone saws, polishes and etches them with acid, they also reveal Widmanstätten patterns. NWA 14093, for its part, is a mesosiderite, half metal and half rock. Finally, Amgala 001 comes from Mars, and it is the rarest.
That is why it has its own selection: our Mars meteorite watches.
Yes: the fragments occupy the dial and remain visible under the glass. In addition, each watch arrives with a certificate of authenticity that states the meteorite used.
No, because the glass protects them, so they need no special care. Only the case and the strap need maintenance, as with any watch.
